We're already two weeks into the new year, and as I mentioned in my previous post a while back - I’ve been working for an exhibition this last year that is actually opening in only two days!
While being on the road I managed to make quite some paintings, so coming back home meant running to the workshop to build some frames, stretch all the paintings, repaint the edges nicely and make sure all the work is signed. Then pack them all in bubble wrap and have them ready for pick-up for the exhibition!
Most of the work made for this exhibition has not been exhibited before but there will also be a few of my old works displayed in the expo. Another very exciting part of this exhibition is that I will be exhibiting together with an incredibly skilled Swedish glassblower Micke Johansson! I am so so thrilled to see how our work is going to interact with each other in the space of Galleri Nord.
The vernissage of the exhibition is this Saturday, the 14th of January, from 12:00 - 16:00, but worry not, if you can't make it on Saturday there will be plenty of time still to check out the exhibition as it will be up until the 27th of January. I hope to see you there!
